Terms of Service

1. 1.These Terms apply to all relationships between the User and the Operator concerning the use of this app.
2. 2.Any separate rules or guidelines that the Operator establishes within this app form part of these Terms. If these Terms conflict with such separate rules, the separate rules take precedence.

The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows.

• ・This app: the mobile application "Wordoops" provided by the Operator and the services incidental to it.
• ・Posted content: the misspoken word, the intended word, the description, attached images, and other information that the User posts or transmits through this app.
• ・Account: the right to use this app that is assigned to the User.

1. 1.Use of this app requires logging in (authentication) with a Google account (Android) or Apple ID (iOS). The User shall manage their authentication credentials at their own responsibility.
2. 2.While this app is intended for posting and viewing children's misspoken words, in principle only adults (including guardians), or minors who have obtained the consent of their legal representative, may register and use an account. Minors must use this app with the consent of their guardian.
3. 3.When posting, the User shall give due consideration to the rights of the child who is the subject or topic and of that child's guardian.

1. 1.The User shall set a nickname when using this app (required at first login). The User may optionally set an icon image.
2. 2.The nickname and icon image are disclosed to other Users. The User must not set any information that identifies an individual, such as a name, address, or phone number, or any content that infringes the rights of a third party.
3. 3.The User may optionally register a child's name and a child's icon image in order to organize their posts. The child's name and the child's icon image are used solely for the User's own post management and are not disclosed to other Users (they are not displayed in posts).

1. 1.The User may post content about misspoken words through this app. Posted content may be disclosed to other Users in reverse chronological order.
2. 2.The User may optionally attach an image to a post. An attached image may be disclosed to other Users as part of the posted content.
3. 3.The User warrants that they have the legitimate right to post the posted content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
4. 4.The User may view, edit, and delete their own past posted content.
5. 5.A limit on the number of posts (the number of posts available) may be set. The User may obtain additional available posts by watching rewarded ads (such as video ads) or by other methods determined by the Operator. The conditions for granting available posts, their cap, and their validity may be changed at the Operator's discretion.
6. 6.The User may report to the Operator any posted content that appears inappropriate. Reports must not be made for fraudulent purposes such as false reporting or harassment.

In using this app, the User must not engage in any of the following acts.

• ・Acts that violate laws and regulations or public order and morals
• ・Acts related to criminal activity
• ・Acts that infringe the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, reputation, or other rights or interests of the Operator, other Users, or third parties
• ・Posting content that harms the welfare of children, or content that is obscene, violent, or discriminatory
• ・Posting information or images about a third party's child without the consent of the child or their guardian
• ・Slander, harassment, or impersonation directed at other Users
• ・Registering or posting false information
• ・Placing an excessive load on the network or systems of this app, unauthorized access, or reverse engineering
• ・Acts that interfere with the operation of this app, or any other act that the Operator deems inappropriate

1. 1.In principle, the copyright in posted content belongs to the User or the legitimate rights holder.
2. 2.The User grants the Operator a free license to use posted content (including reproduction, publication, display, and distribution) to the extent necessary to provide, operate, improve, and promote this app.
3. 3.If the Operator determines that posted content violates Article 6, it may delete or hide such posted content without prior notice to the User.

1. 1.The Operator may suspend or interrupt all or part of this app without prior notice to Users in the event of system maintenance or inspection, failures, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances.
2. 2.The Operator may change, add to, or discontinue the content of this app without prior notice to Users.

1. 1.If the User violates these Terms, or if the Operator determines that there is a risk of such violation, the Operator may, without prior notice, delete posted content, restrict use of this app, or delete the account.
2. 2.The User may delete their own account at any time through the functions within this app. The handling of data accompanying account deletion is set out in the Privacy Policy.

1. 1.The Operator makes no express or implied warranty that this app is free from defects in fact or in law (including safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, and fitness for a particular purpose).
2. 2.Except in cases of the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for any damage incurred by the User arising from this app.
3. 3.Any dispute arising between Users or with a third party shall be resolved at the User's own responsibility and expense, and the Operator bears no liability whatsoever.

The copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to this app, except for posted content, belong to the Operator or the legitimate rights holder. The User must not use them without the Operator's permission.

This app uses third-party services such as Google (including Firebase Authentication), Apple (Sign in with Apple), and Amazon Web Services. The use of these services may be subject to the terms and policies of each provider. For details, please see the Privacy Policy.

1. 1.The Operator may change these Terms at any time without notice to Users when it deems necessary.
2. 2.The revised Terms take effect from the time they are displayed within this app or on the website. If the User uses this app after the change, the User is deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

1. 1.The interpretation and application of these Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
2. 2.This app is intended primarily for users in Japan but may be used from outside Japan. Even if use from outside Japan conflicts with the laws of that region, the Operator bears no liability.
3. 3.In the event of a dispute between the Operator and the User concerning this app or these Terms, the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location shall be the exclusive court of first instance by agreement.
